Working deep inside his forge of frequencies, French trance artist Leinender has created steel-cold emotion from a molten core of sounds. The result is “Soundforgers” - the second single released from Leinender’s upcoming album, Ephipaneia. It follows the previous release of his EP entitled Wastefulness in 2008.

Leinender focused “Soundforgers” on the theme of creation. He elaborates, “I wanted express - through music - the very process of the creative process. From only an idea to completion, there is a progression that is simple that yields something complex.” Via mystery and muse, “Soundforgers” examines how humans forge elements together with a combination of our hands, minds and imagination.

Leinender’s final product is a musical montage of the mind’s creative process. From conception to completion, it is a trip inside the human brain. You can hear what is occurring as the creation takes on its own reality. The track begins simply, reflecting the inspiration and birth of a new idea, as droplets of ice cold tones fall and resonate through empty space. Musically latent, the percussion begins the synth bass pulses and increases in speed. The progression continues as the process becomes more intricate uses sounds, frequencies and bass percussion to explain a simple process that results in a complex creation.

Within “Soundforgers” resonates with the very sound of creation itself. However, this is only one small part of what is to come from the entire work of Ephipaneia. In the album, which is to be released this summer, “Soundforgers” represents one tiny sample of an endless array of revelations.
