The RAW Gem
It’s quite rare when a song gets you hooked that you just can’t stop listening to it, especially in those recent years – when we are constantly served with “empty” and soulless tracks (however polished and engineered to perfection).
Difficult to find that “raw gem”, that particular track which will stand out from the rest – and make you feel something inside…
Well I did find one! Yesterday I was talking to my long-time friend Gilles Munten and was checking his tracks on Soundcloud; it’s how I discovered “Late December” from his project “Not For Sale” – and I have been (literally) raping the play button since then!
This track is all I like; it has this really “authentic” feeling - melancholic, simple and emotional. I wouldn't know exactly what genre it belongs to (some sort of melodic techno-electro) but it doesn’t really matter, this track is taking me somewhere.
The only negative point is the length, 2 minutes and 42 seconds is really TOO SHORT for such an awesome track... I would really see myself tripping on a longer version of this...
